Chalice Premium

During the summer of 2024, I worked as the Multimedia Creative Design Associate at Chalice Premium, a brand centered around home mixology, inclusivity, and premium ingredients. I developed creative concepts for their social media, video marketing, and promotional campaigns handling graphic design, video editing, presentation decks, and contributing to overall marketing strategy. While the work itself was engaging, the experience came with serious issues: my final promised payment of $1,100 was withheld without explanation, and my attempts to resolve it were ignored and blocked by the company’s founder, Zakiyyah Walker. Sadly, I wasn’t the only one multiple interns from that summer were similarly unpaid.
I'm including this project here to spotlight both the work I created and the importance of fair treatment for creatives. Our labor deserves respect, recognition, and compensation.
